AUSTIN—The Independent Insurance Agents of Texas ( iiat.org), in conjunction with the University of Dallas College of Business, has established the IIAT Leadership Academy, which is designed to teach to current and future independent agency leaders and future leaders the advanced strategic management skills necessary to ensure success. Academy courses will be taught by professors who are also leading practitioners in their respective fields. Topics will be delivered in three, 2 1/2 day sessions over three consecutive months: March 24-26; April 21-23; and May 19-21. The intensive curriculum consists of 15 segments covering seven key leadership topics. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate from the University of Dallas College of Business.
